Door County Destroyers Return to Baileys Harbor After Road Loss

The Door County Destroyers were on the losing end of another close contest against the Rockton Rush July 8 in Rockton, Ill. With the 44-38 loss, the Destroyers stand at 2-2 in conference play. This was only the second meeting between the teams.

Standout performers: Quarterback Dan Parker threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns (TD); Running back TaMar Scott rushed 19 times for 121 yards and two TD; Wide receiver Andre Wilson caught five passes for 149 yards and three TD; Safety Matt Gajewski led the defense with eight tackles and one pass deflection; linebacker Mason Czekala recorded three tackles and one interception; Cornerbacks Jake Hall and Rodney Dawson each added one interception.
