Door County Events – Travelogue Film Series Explores United State’s Northeast Coast

When one considers the Northeast Coast of the United States, they usually picture big cities and crowded beaches, but there are still many natural wonders to explore. Natural Wonders of the Northeast Coast: Virgina Beach to Maine, is a 1,500-mile film adventure that begins in busy Virginia Beach and ends at the Maine/Canada border. The film displays an amazing array of birds, mammals, whales, insects, amphibians, flora, and endangered species, and allows viewers to experience kayaking, sailing, aerial tours, lobstering, crabbing, and over 30 lighthouses.

The Kiwanis Club of Northern Door will feature the film, narrated by professional travel film producer and present, John Holod, as part of their Travelogue film series on Friday, October 24 at 7:30 pm at the First Baptist Church of Sister Bay.

Show admission is $7 or $36 for a six-ticket pass that is valid for admission to any of the films in the 2008-2009 travel film series. Children under 18 are admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the door; refreshments will be available during intermission. For more information, please contact Gary at 920.854.4825
