Home Course: The Orchards at Egg Harbor in the summer and Jacksonville Golf and Country Club, Jacksonville, Florida, in the winter.

Handicap: Current index is 3.2.

Best 18-hole score: Numerous 69s.

Years playing: More than 55 years.

Hole-in-one(s) (Course, Hole, club used): Five, most recent was March 2013 at Jacksonville Golf and CC, #3, 155 yards, 5 iron.

Nicest Golf Course Ever Played (Course, City, State): Cypress Point, Monterey Calif. Played as a guest of Joe Dey and a classmate (Dean Knuth) who later became Director of Handicapping for the USGA.

Favorite Golf Memory: I have two, the first time I beat my Dad and the first time my son beat me.

Golf Accomplishment Most Proud of: The ability to stay competitive for a fairly long time.

Favorite Golfer: Currently Phil Mickelson and Arnold Palmer in the past. There are lots of similarities between the two, in my opinion.

Fantasy Foursome: Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples and my son Todd.

What’s in the bag? Taylor Made R 11 driver, Titleist utilities, Adams Pro A12 irons, Odyssey Versa putter.

Strengths: Driver consistency, used to be distance but I get shorter every year.

Weaknesses: Short game, not enough up and downs.

Golf Tip to Share: A few minutes on the practice range can make your four hours on the golf course much more enjoyable.
