Door County Half Marathon Seeking Volunteers

Do you want to join the team working on Door County’s most exciting new community event?

The Door County Half Marathon and Nicolet Bay 5k is looking for volunteers to help prepare for the rapidly growing race. Volunteers are needed to help assemble runner’s packets April 26 – 28 for the more than 1,600 participants expected for the race. Volunteers are also needed to fill various roles April 30 and on race day Saturday, May 1.

The Nicolet Bay 5k has reached its cap of 450 runners and registration has been closed. There are spots available for the Half Marathon, but they are filling fast. Over 1,100 runners have registered for the event, up from 683 that finished the race in 2009. To register visit or call Assistant Race Director Mary Knutson at 920.421.1519.
