Door County Highway 57 Will Re-open for Fall Fest

Highway 57 between Baileys Harbor and Sister Bay has been closed since early September, but will re-open this week for the thousands of visitors flocking to Sister Bay’s Fall Festival.

Traffic has been detoured down County Road Q as crews replaced a culvert between Ahrens Road and Meadow Road near Baileys Harbor. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the highway will re-open by Wednesday, Oct. 11.
