Door County Historical Society Host Dinner at Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club

The Door County Historical Society will present a dinner and program on June 24 at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club.

The menu includes: salad with buttermilk dressing, roast pork loin, mashed potatoes, vegetables, assorted bars and cookies. There is also a vegetarian menu: cheese tortellini with asparagus and cherry tomatoes.

Nan and Jerry Krause will portray a day in the life of Sarah and Julius Warren, whose 1877 home is located at Heritage Village at Big Creek. They are one of the early settler families in Door County, and have lots of family stories.

Dinner starts at 6:30 pm, and the program begins about 7:15 pm. The meal is $20 for members, and $23 for nonmembers. For reservations, complete a form located on doorcountyhistoricalsociety.org by June 14.
