It’s (almost) the most wonderful time of the year! Here’s a rundown of the big community celebrations coming your way so that you can create new holiday traditions or celebrate old ones. Find more holiday events in our events calendar.

Thanksgiving Day Parade

Nov. 24, 10:30 am
Lakeside Park, off Hwy 57, Jacksonport

Before loading up on Thanksgiving dinner, head to downtown Jacksonport to watch floats and get a sneak peek at Santa.

Christmas by the Bay 

Nov. 18, 6 pm
Downtown Sturgeon Bay

Sturgeon Bay store owners “unwrap” their festive storefronts during the annual community car parade. Then head to the clock tower on 3rd Avenue to watch the tree lighting (8 pm).

Ellison Bay Christmas Tree Lighting

Nov. 20, 5 pm
Middle of Ellison Bay, near the info booth

After watching the Christmas tree lighting, warm up at the Mink River Basin, 12010 Hwy 42 in Ellison Bay, and enjoy a community chili supper there.

Egg Harbor Holly Days

Nov. 25-26, 10 am
Downtown Egg Harbor

Celebrate Christmas the old-fashioned way by riding in a horse-drawn wagon, listening to carolers, enjoying hot chocolate and watching the tree lighting. Kids can make holiday crafts, meet Santa and decorate cookies. Work off some Thanksgiving calories at the One Barrel 2.62 run on Saturday morning.

Christkindlmarkt

Nov. 25-27, Dec. 2-4 and Dec. 9-11. The hours for the first and second weekends are Friday and Saturday, 11 am – 7 pm, and Sunday, 11 am – 3 pm. The hours shift for the third weekend to Friday and Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, and Sunday, 11 am – 3 pm. 

Corner of the Past, 10310 Fieldcrest Road in Sister Bay

Christkindlmarkt – Door County’s version of the famous European Christmas markets – debuted to rave reviews in 2021. The event features chefs serving up food specialties and beverages, plus dozens of vendors selling artisan wares and gifts in the pioneer homestead at Corner of the Past.  More information>>

Capture the Spirit in Sister Bay

Nov. 25, 3:30-5:30 pm, and Nov. 26, 10 am – 4 pm
Waterfront Park, 10693 N. Bay Shore Dr. (Hwy 42) in Sister Bay

Meet Santa and his elves and reindeer, then grab some hot cocoa as Sister Bay’s holiday light display comes to life. Browse gifts at the arts and crafts fair, and make your own art projects as well. 

Christmas in the Village

Dec. 3, 3-5 pm 
Throughout Ephraim

Visit Santa with his elves and reindeer; then watch him light the Christmas tree in Harborside Park (5 pm).

Harbor Holiday

Dec. 3, 6-8 pm 
Kendall Park, 2392 Cty F in Baileys Harbor

Meet elves, reindeer and, of course, Santa himself. Then make some holiday crafts, snag some treats and watch the tree lighting (7:30 pm). 

Christmas at Noble Square

Dec. 5, 5 pm 
Noble Square, 4167 Hwy 42 in Fish Creek

Listen to carolers and snack on Christmas treats as you watch the old-fashioned tree lighting.
