One of the favorite dog walkers at the shelter is a 60-year-old lady from Egg Harbor who had this to say about BENJI and CHULO, our one-year-old Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull Terrier brothers: “They are awesome together with tails always wagging. They are a breeze to walk, beautifully behaved and gentle with treats. Both Benji and Chulo know the commands ‘come, sit, play, lie down, and fetch.’ It would be wonderful if they were adopted together.”

BENJI and CHULO play and keep each other company. If adopted simultaneously, the first adoption is $120 and the second dog is $60 under the Door County Humane Society Buddy Plan.

Bark in the Park will be held Saturday, Sept. 6 at Sunset Park, 3rd Avenue, Sturgeon Bay. Please join us beginning at 9 am. The walk, led by Harley the camel, steps off at 10 am.
