Door County Humane Society Featured Pets

Two frolicking bichon/poodle mix male dogs named Jennings and Woodson are bringing grins to the entire DCHS staff. They are each 1-2 years old, playful and clever, with low-shed coats. Jennings is brown and tan and about 10 pounds, while Woodson is darker in color and about 14 pounds. After being found in Forestville, the dogs were neutered and received all their shots. They are available separately or together.

The center anticipates a lot of interest in these dogs. To speed up the reference check process, they encourage interested parties to download and print an adoption application from their website, and fax it to the Humane Society at 920.746.4681.

Rolla has been at the shelter for just too darn long! She is a lovely tortoiseshell cat who was born in September 2009. She has a loving personality, ready to share with a family of her own. Rolla gets along famously with the other cats in the lobby.

Adoption costs are $85 for cats and kittens, $120 for dogs, and $60 for puppies. The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD)
in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit http://www.dooranimals.com.
