Two Nasewaupee strays are highlighted this week; both have lots of love to give a new family.
Griffin was the last cat to enter the shelter in 2010. He’s a 10-pound, neutered male, about 2 – 4 years old. Griffin’s beautiful amber eyes complement his longhaired, coppery orange coat. Happy to be held, he’s up-to-date with vaccinations and ready for his forever home.
Truly one of the sweetest girls at the shelter, lively families will not find a better fit than Arin. She is a Labrador mix, about 1 – 2 years old and spayed. She’s calm on her leash walks, alert to instruction, and will play outside or inside, just as long as it’s with a guardian.
Adoption costs are $85 for cats and kittens, $120 for dogs, and $60 for puppies. The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD) in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon – 4 pm.
