Door County Humane Society Featured Pets

If left to follow their noses, Beagles have a way of wandering too far from home. There are three adorable Beagle boys at the shelter right now, and Skippy has logged the most time in residence. He’s a stray from Union, 2 to 4 years old, neutered, and a pal to all the other dogs. Personable and playful, Skippy is an ideal family dog or companion for a single person.

A cat that doesn’t seem to enjoy the company of other cats, Iowa saves all her affection for the humans who will hold her. She’s 2 to 3 years old, spayed, and an August 2010 arrival to DCHS from Sturgeon Bay.

Adoption costs are $85 for cats and kittens, $120 for dogs, and $60 for puppies. The Door County Humane Society, located at 3475 Park Drive (County PD)
in Sturgeon Bay, is open for adoption Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
from noon – 4 pm. For more information call 920.746.1111 or visit http://www.dooranimals.com.
