Door County Humane Society Featured Pets

SELMA, a one-year-old American Foxhound female, is originally from Washington Island. Selma’s had a tough year, first coming into the shelter at 4 months old. She was here for several months prior to spaying, and then was adopted by a family in Sturgeon Bay. Two weeks ago, our hearts fell when Selma was returned because her owner took a new job that left no time for dog care. Selma did nothing wrong but is back at the Humane Society. She can only be adopted by a family who will commit to being her forever home. Being young and energetic, Selma is happiest when she has lots of exercise and playtime. Adoption cost $120.

CORONA, is a male kitten, 13-weeks-old, not yet neutered because he is still a baby cat. Corona and his two brothers were found in the Town of Forestville last month. Adoption cost $42.50.
