The Door County Humane Society (DCHS) annual breakfast meeting is June 22 at 7:30 am at Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay. During the meeting, members and volunteers will look over this past year at DCHS and take a look forward at what is to come in the rest of 2017 and into 2018. Admission is $15 per person and it covers a breakfast of French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh-cut fruit, breakfast pastries, coffee and fruit juice. The organization requests that the admission fee be paid at the door on the day of the event in the form of cash or check (please no credit cards). To RSVP, contact DCHS’s Communication and Development Coordinator April Delfosse at 920.746.1111 ext. 5 or [email protected].
Another event planned for DCHS is a satellite adoption event on June 24, 10 am – 4 pm, at Dogma Diggs & Grooming Studio in the Country Walk Shops of Sister Bay.
“Because our location is in Sturgeon Bay it can make it difficult for those living in northern Door to get to us,” explained DCHS Volunteer and Adoption Coordinator Jessica Auz. “If you’ve been considering adding a new furry family member, now is the perfect time. All of DCHS’s cats that are available for adoption are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations.”
