Door County Kids Invited to Children’s Christmas Stores

The holidays are approaching and it’s time for the Children’s Christmas Stores, sponsored by the Door County 4-H. Children’s Christmas Stores provide children the opportunity to shop for family members’ Christmas presents. Parents choose a budget and a volunteer elf is provided for each child to assist them in shopping and wrapping. This experience helps teach children about giving, budgeting and decision making. Stores will be open at the following dates and locations: Nov. 26, 11:30 am – 2 pm, Bertschinger Center, Egg Harbor; Dec. 3, 9-11 am, Brussels Town Hall. Volunteers are also needed for each store.
