UPDATED: Sister Bay Wins Door County League Baseball Playoffs

Sister Bay didn’t bring home the title they wanted, but they got the consolation prize by beating West Jacksonport Sunday in the Door County League playoff championship game. The Bays topped the Ports 4 – 2.

In the playoff semifinals Aug. 26 the regular season champion Egg Harbor Indians fell to West Jacksonport, 7 – 3. That meant that once again, the Door County League baseball regular season champion would not double up with a playoff championship. 

Kolberg (2008) and Sister Bay (2015) are the only teams to sweep the regular season and playoff championships since 2004.

In Sister Bay Sunday Aug. 26, the second place Bays topped Washington Island 10 – 2.
