Door County Marine Introduces T-One Towing

Door County Marine President Jon Kruse recently announced the company is offering emergency boat towing and salvage services to boaters in central Door County. T-One Towing uses a vessel (T-One) originally built by Sensation Yachts for the 30th America’s Cup in New Zealand. T-One is a solid workhorse with speed, function and comfort.

“Budget limitations are restricting the Coast Guard’s ability to respond to non-life threatening emergency calls from boaters,” Kruse explained. “With this increased need for commercial towing services, T-One can step right in with the size and power to tow personal pleasure boats of almost any size or to handle the rough seas that are common to Lake Michigan. Engine failure, fuel depletion and groundings are typical events where T-One can be of assistance.”

T-One Towing is a division of Door County Marine and is located at 1651 Memorial Drive in Sturgeon Bay. In addition to her towing and salvage capabilities, T-One is available for crew transfers or ferry services to the surrounding islands or other ports in Door County.
