Door County Master Gardeners Annual Plant Sale

The Door County Master Gardeners sale will feature plants for all garden beds –vegetables and flowers, annuals and perennials, plants for sun and shade, tall and short plants May 26 from 9 am – noon at the Peninsular Agricultural Research Station.

The color of the year is Tangerine Tango and several plants in that color will be for sale including impatiens, marigolds and nasturtium, as well as plants for attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, and flowers for fragrance, cutting and drying.

A selection of vegetables, including heirloom tomatoes, and annuals and perennials that were grown by master gardeners will also be for sale.

In addition to the plant sale, shoppers can receive a free plant if they tour the Garden Door while at the Research Station.

The Peninsular Research Station is located at 4312 Highway 42 in Sturgeon Bay. Plant lists will be available a week before the sale at http://www.dcmga.org.
