Door County Medical Center Auxiliary Offering Scholarships to Door County Students

When the Door County Medical Center Auxiliary held its annual Angel Ball, the participants not only enjoyed a superb dinner, great wines, dancing, friendship and fun, but all proceeds will fund scholarships for Door County high school students who meet the auxiliary’s scholastic requirements and intend to pursue studies in medical fields. The Angel Ball is one of the auxiliary’s two main signature fundraising events.

“The $37,000 we raised will fund many scholarships for local students and DCMC employees who wish to further their medical education,” said Deb Hogan, who has run the scholarship program for six years. “It’s always a great time of the year for us … to be able to reward these exceptional students.”
