Door County Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarships Announced

Door County Medical Center (DCMC) Auxiliary awarded $33,000 in scholarships to graduates of Algoma High School and five Door County high schools, as well as earlier graduates who are currently enrolled in programs in the medical field. Current DCMC employees were also awarded funds in the areas of health information, radiology and nursing.

DCMC employees who received $500 scholarships include Patience Alberts, Brooke Krueger, Ellen LeClair and Abigail Opicka. 

High school students who received $1,000 scholarships include Brock Aune, Sarah Bridenhagen, Kelly Cater, Kimberly Church, Robyn Couperus, Kendra Dantoin, Nicholas Herbst, Rylee Lux, Amelia Scheer, Chloe Spitzer and Melissa Srnka. 

Door County alumnae who are currently enrolled in a medical field of study who received $2,000 scholarships include Allison Alberts, Sarah Felhofer, Anna Giblin, Jillian Jorns, Katie Kaminski, Hanna Mallien, Kelsey Pavlik, Ali Spitzer, Jennifer Vandertie and Alexis Wery.
