Door County Medical Center Hosts Caregiver Workshop

Door County Medical Center will offer Powerful Tools for Caregivers, a workshop for adults who are coping with the demands of caring for an older adult with long-term health needs.

The workshop will help caregivers to focus on their own goals and well-being while empowering them with strategies to feel confident in their caregiving abilities. Reported outcomes from this evidence-based workshop include reduced stress, improved self-confidence, better communication and an increased ability to make tough decisions. 

This free workshop will be offered Tuesdays, April 19 – May 24, 9:30-11 am, at NWTC in Sister Bay; and again on Tuesdays, June 7 – July 12, 9:30-11 am, at the ADRC in Sturgeon Bay.
