Door County Municipal News: May 20 -27

City of Sturgeon Bay: The Parking & Traffic Committee meets at 3:30 pm on May 23. The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at noon on May 24 regarding a request to vary the pitch of the roof for a new dwelling on a vacant lot just north of 534 S. 15th Ave. The Parks & Recreation Committee meets at 7 pm on May 25. 

County of Door: The County Board of Supervisors meets at 9 am on May 24. The Board of Adjustment meets at 6:30 pm on May 24.

Town of Forestville: The Cemetery Committee is holding a cemetery cleanup day at 9 am on May 21 at Town of Forestville Cemetery on County H and Brockhausen Cemetery on Hwy. 42. Help is always welcome. For more information, contact Town Clerk Ruth Kerscher, 920.856.6551 or [email protected].

Town of Gibraltar: The Waterfront Steering Committee meets at 5 pm on May 24, followed by the Plan Commission at 7 pm.

Town of Jacksonport: The town board meets at 7 pm on May 24. Due to Maifest, recycling has been canceled on May 28. To make up for it, there will be three recycling Saturdays in June.

Village of Egg Harbor: The Library Ad-Hoc Committee meets at 1 pm on May 23. The Plan Commission meets at 6 pm on May 24. Open Book will be held at 3 pm on May 25.

Village of Sister Bay: The Plan Commission meets at 5:30 pm on May 24.
