Door County Named “Best Romantic Getaway”

An online-based travel advice site called Budget Travel announced the first of its Budget Travel Awards, naming Door County as the “Best Romantic Getaway.” Budget Travel staff, regular contributors, photographers and videographers collaborated to determine the best travel brands and destinations across the U.S., and beyond, in the first of planned annual Budget Travel Awards. Other BTA winners included Dollywood as the best theme park, Detroit as the best foodie city and Puerto Rico as best island getaway.
