Musicians Steve Cohen and Peter Roller.

The Settlement Courtyard Inn announces its Fall Concert Series with two nights of great music in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn’s Fireplace Lounge. Master blues artist, Steve Cohen, along with guest artist Peter Roller, will perform on Thursday, October 30. A local trio, featuring an eclectic musical style, including Julian Hagen, Mark Paffrath and Marise Redmann, will perform on Saturday, November 1.

October 30, harmonica player, guitarist and singer Steve Cohen will team up with accomplished finger-style guitarist Peter Roller to present a unique selection of music. They take the harmonica/guitar duo from its country blues roots into fresh territory that includes jazz, rock, ragtime, Brazilian, blues and original tunes. Having performed in duo and band formations together for 20 years, Cohen and Roller have an empathy for each other’s playing that truly allows them to stretch out in performance.

“Playing with my two friends has been a lot of fun,” says Redmann. “When we sing together something just happens. The quality of our voices blends perfectly.”

The trio will be playing a variety of music from ballads to blues to Irish folk as well as originals by Hagen and Paffrath.
