Door County Photo Contest Deadline Approaches

The fifth annual Door County Photo Contest entry deadline is rapidly approaching. Everyone is encouraged to submit their photos that feature the county’s people, landscapes, or animals that have been taken after August 1, 2007 in Door County by September 5, 2009.

Up to two photos between 6” x 8” and 8” x 14” may be submitted by each photographer, and the photos will be on display at the Blue Horse Bistro & Espresso in Fish Creek from mid-September until the end of October. People’s choice voting will take place from when the exhibit hangs through mid-October. There will also be four guest judges whose votes, together with people’s choice, will determine the grand prize winner. These judges are accomplished local artists, photographers, and imaging specialists.
