Door County Photo Contest Deadline Approaches

The fourth annual Door County Photo Contest entry deadline is rapidly approaching. This contest started in 2005 and has been a popular show with the photos on display at the Blue Horse Bistro & Espresso in Fish Creek from mid-September until the end of October.

As part of the contest, people’s choice voting will take place from mid-September through mid-October. That’s right, everyone can go in and vote for their favorite entries. These votes will be combined with those of four guest judges to determine the grand prize winner. The judges are accomplished local artists, photographers, and imaging specialists.

Entries should feature the county’s people, landscapes, or animals and be taken after August 1, 2007 in Door County. The deadline to submit entries is September 1, 2008. Up to four photos between 5”x7” and 11”x14” may be submitted. Anyone can win regardless of experience and age.
