Door County Realtors Receive Grant

The Door County Board of Realtors has received a $2,100 Placemaking micro-grant from the National Association of Realtors to help make the Door County community a better place to live. The Door County Board of Realtors will use the funds in conjunction with the “Bike the Door” tourism loops. A master plan was created through the efforts of the Door County Highway Committee, Door County Board of Supervisors, the WisDOT, Door County Planning Department as well as multiple residents, agency and other organizations throughout the county.

The project will transform the current space by bringing bicyclists, families, and the community together to use a safe bike area; connect with other bikers and local business owners, visit places of interest, promote tourism, health, and family time and improve the community by providing a place to gather. For more information on the “Bike the Door” tourism loops visit dcbr.org.
