Door County Sail & Power Squadron Presents Knot Seminar

The Door County Sail & Power Squadron is offering a free two-hour seminar, “Knots, Bends, & Hitches,” on June 11 at 9 am. The seminar will take place at SkipperBud’s Quarterdeck Marina, located at 705 Quarterdeck Lane, Sturgeon Bay.

The instructor, Craig S. Weis, is a longtime Squadron member who has sailed nearly his entire life. He will present the “learn how to tie knots” program geared to a wide range of audiences, who will learn the most useful knots and their applications.

“Knots, Bends, & Hitches” is the first of several Power Squadron seminars planned for this summer. Additional seminars will be held the second and fourth Saturdays during the months of June, July, and August at Quarterdeck, with the exception of June 25, which will be at the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club.
