Door County Seasonal Solutions Wins 18th Annual Entrepreneur Training Program

Door County Seasonal Solutions has won the 18th annual Door County Entrepreneur Training Program Business Plan Contest. The Door County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay commend Gregory and Jamie Schab for their exceptionally well-written business plan, which scored 284 out of 300 points.

As the 2019 winners, the Schabs receive a $1,000 cash award – generously sponsored by Associated Bank, the Bank of Luxemburg and Nicolet National Bank – to use on business expenses.

“Gregory and Jamie wrote an incredible, well-articulated, thorough plan,” said Dave Stauffacher of the SBDC. “Due to their extensive research, strong analysis and professional presentation, [their] plan received high scores from all three judges.” A panel of experienced judges evaluated plans submitted by 11 entrepreneurs who enrolled in the 2019 class. These entrepreneurs learned the building blocks of a successful business plan and wrote their own plans with help from teachers and consultants from the SBDC and DCEDC.
