Door County Sled Dogs to Move into New Ephraim Headquarters

The Door County Sled Dogs are proud to announce the official acquisition of their new building, to serve as a headquarters and education center. An open house is planned at their new property (10322 Hwy. 42, Ephraim) on Nov. 10, 5:30-8 pm. Guests can meet the dogs from 5:30 to 6:15 pm, with a presentation at 6:30 pm.

Made up of 43 members and their 40 pet rescues, mostly Huskies, the Door County Sled Dogs is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit, all-volunteer organization and recreational dog sled team whose mission is rescue, education, and fun for children, adults and families.

“The building…offers an ideal location for us to connect with so many, enabling us to act as a presence and voice for all rescues. Thank you to all who are making this possible,” said Bonnie Ulrich, executive director and co-founder of the organization, along with Rick Desotelle.
