Door County String Academy Closes Exhibit

The Door County String Academy (DCSA) celebrated the closing of the art exhibit Pictures at an Exhibition at the Sturgeon Bay Branch of the Door County Library with a concert on Jan. 19. Students from the DCSA played a selection of pieces from their recent performance of Mussorsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition.”

Over 200 Door County students entered the contest sponsored by DCSA and the Door County Library by producing a piece of art inspired by music. The winners of the contest were Robbie Valencia, Katie Peot and Megan Horace.
