Door County Talks Series Continues on March 2

The March 2 Door County Talks presentation at the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will feature Jason Cowell speaking about “FREE – Developing Fairness, Respect, Empathy and Equality in Children.” It will be held at 10 am in the DCA’s Fireside Lobby and include a post-talk Q&A session.

Cowell, a UW-Green Bay assistant professor of psychology, will discuss the neural, cultural and behavioral development of morality and empathy in children, adolescents and adults, focusing on current attempts to intervene and increase these qualities and behaviors. He studies the neural development of moral judgment, moral action, theory of mind, empathy, self-control and prosocial behavior in childhood, adolescence and adulthood.

Coffee and bakery from Kick Ash Coffee will be available for purchase, and free-will donations are appreciated.
