Door County Teams Roll in Volleyball Playoffs

The WIAA girls volleyball playoffs started Tuesday and all four Door County teams picked up a win.

In Division 4, Gibraltar stopped Oneida Nation 25-11, 25-12, 25-8. Abbi Sitte turned in 7 aces, 10 kills, 26 assists and 26 digs. Agne Zukauskaite had 15 kills and 17 digs and Bella Bunda added 12 kills. The Vikings host Osh Kosh Valley Christian tonight at 7 p.m.

In Division 3, Sevastopol rallied to beat Manitowoc Lutheran 20-25, 8-25, 25-22, 25-23, 16-14. Mya Ploor had 17 kills and 12 digs, Johanna Andreae added 8 kills and Sasha Laaksonen added 32 assists. The Pioneers travel to Oostburg tonight at 7 p.m.

Southern Door advanced in Division 3 with a 25-14, 25-14, 25-14 sweep of Roncalli. The Eagles host St. Mary’s Springs tonight a 7 p.m.

Sturgeon Bay outlasted Two Rivers 18-25, 25-18, 25-14, 16-25, 15-7 in Division 2 action. The Clippers travel to Freedom tonight at 7 p.m.
