Door County Volleyball Update

Husby’s took advantage of a Paul Nelson-less Four Season team to shake up the standings in rain-drenched play Wednesday night. Husby’s swept Four Seasons, moving into a first place tie with Blue Horse as the season hit the midway point. Bay Shore continued its climb with another sweep, and Gray-Aire Dairy beat Off A Horse twice to near the .500 mark and separate themselves from the bottom of the pack.

In the Pulse vs. Camp David matchup, Dave Ellmann made a surprise comeback appearance and registered one kill, but it wasn’t enough to inspire the Mad Campers to a victory. In a 9 o’clock matchup, Belly Shots took two games from the Bayside, which is still struggling to adjust to the smoking ban and their suddenly increased lung capacity.
