Door County Watercolor Artist Accepted into Statewide Exhibit

Door County artist Connie Glowacki’s painting “Floral Autocus” has been accepted for display at the statewide competition, Watercolor Wisconsin – 2016, held at Racine’s Charles A. Wustum Museum of Fine Arts. The opening reception is Dec. 11, 2 – 4 pm. The show closes in April 2017.

Glowacki’s work is currently on display at the Wisconsin Watercolor Society’s Exhibit at the Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay. Her work, “Day’s End,” features the view from the Ellison Bay Bluff Park. Her work is also on display in the Celebrations exhibit at Meadows Gallery in Sister Bay.

Glowacki will teach a two-day class at the Cedarburg Cultural Center on Dec. 3 & 4 featuring winter subjects.

Glowacki and her husband, Mike, present her work from May through October at their gallery, Connie Glowacki – Artist, Watercolors with Spirit at the Top of the Hill Shops in Fish Creek.
