Door County YMCA Blossom Run Set for May 8

The Door County YMCA’s 17th Annual Blossom Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 8 in Egg Harbor. This family oriented event includes a four-mile run, a two-mile run/walk and a one-mile youth run.

Race day registration begins at 7 am, with the four and two-mile run beginning at 8:30 am and the one-mile run scheduled for 9:30 am. Registration fees are $18 for adults, and children 12-and-under are $10. All registrants receive a pair of running gloves, and all children in the one-mile youth run receive an award. Awards also go to the top male and female in each age bracket and door prizes are handed out following the race.

Due to construction at Dock Park, this year’s race will start and finish at the Peg Egan Performing Arts Center on Church Street. The traditional five-mile run has been switched to a four-mile run due to the route change.
