Door County’s Best Backyard Bash

Deaths Door Barbecue is holding the first annual Door County’s Best Backyard Bash on June 2 on Washington Island. The Backyard Bash will have three categories: chicken, ribs and anything but (includes all other meats).

The cook-off will be held at the Washington Island Campground. The entry fee is $25, which allows contestants to cook in all categories. The overall winner (cooking in all categories) will receive a Weber grill courtesy of Mann’s Mercantile and a sightseeing cruise for two with Shoreline Cruises in Sister Bay. Winners of the individual categories will win a sightseeing cruise for two with Shoreline Cruises.
