Door County’s Bjorklunden Hosts Lawrence University Student Concert

Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden will host a free concert Feb. 10 at 4:30 pm. The String Chamber music concert will feature Lawrence students performing string quartets, trios, and sextets by composers such as Shostakovich, Borodin, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and Grieg. Professor Stephen Clapp from the Juilliard School, as well as members of the Lawrence string faculty, will coach the students.

The performance is sponsored by the Boynton Society and will be held in Bjِrklunden’s Vail Hall. Entrance to the Bjِrklunden lodge is located on Highway 57, south of Baileys Harbor, across from Anschutz Plumbing.
