Door County’s Inn at Kristofer’s Present “Cabin Fever”

The public is welcome to join Chef Terri Milligan on March 25 for a memorable gourmet event at The Inn at Kristofer’s “Cabin Fever” gourmet dinner and cooking class. The “Cabin Fever” event will focus on the preparation of bison, house-smoked oyster-stuffed mushrooms and a bittersweet chocolate fondue.

“With spring coming right around the corner, I wanted to put together a more casual gourmet dinner event,” explained Chef Milligan. The grilled bison steak will be marinated in Guinness beer, and Milligan will demonstrate how to smoke oysters at home. Dessert will be chocolate fondue with strawberries, pound cake and homemade marshmallows.

The five-course dinner will include either two glasses of wines selected by co-owner Chris Milligan and/or two of the restaurants featured beers. The event will also include a one-hour cooking demonstration by Chef Milligan in the restaurant’s second floor cooking school area.

The price of the event is $59 per person and includes the demonstration class, five-course dinner, wine and/or beer, a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival, and tax. Seating is limited to 24. For reservations, call Kristofer’s at 920.854.9419.

The Inn at Kristofer’s is open nightly for dinner beginning at 5 pm. For additional information on the restaurant’s menu and special events, visit http://www.innatkristofers.com.
