Door-Tran Moves Office to Harbor Place Shoppes

By Jan. 1, Door-Tran will move its office from We Are HOPE, Inc. in the Cherry Point Mall to the Harbor Place Shoppes at 49 N. Madison Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. “The office will offer more accessibility to our clients and volunteers as the parking lot is right outside our window. Visitors can use the back parking area of the mall, which also houses the Steel Bridge Café, and will have a short walk into our office,” said Pam Busch, mobility manager with Door-Tran.

Door-Tran’s location is changing, however the services will continue. Door-Tran has offered a Half-Price Travel Voucher Program which has subsidized more than 20,000 trips to date. Door-Tran also provides transportation to Door County veterans traveling to VA Clinics for health care and has provided more than 600 rides since February 2011. The newest program is the County-Wide Volunteer Transportation that was implemented in July 2012 and has already provided local residents with more than 200 rides to date.
