Door-Tran Receives $7,000 Grant

Door-Tran has been awarded a Legacy Grant of $7,088.22 by the Wispact Foundation – funding that will allow the organization to provide half-price taxi vouchers to Door County residents with disabilities. 

“Taxis, which are independently owned, make them ineligible to receive any state or federal assistance for their operating costs,” said Nikki Voight, Door-Tran’s executive director. “The opportunity to work collaboratively with our private taxis to offset these costs for our clients is invaluable. It is such a great honor to have Wispact recognize and support this need.”
