Door-Tran Receives National Recognition for Mobility Management Practices

This past January, Door-Tran was noted as one of seven mobility management best practices in the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) study, A Guide to Successful Mobility Management Practices for Improving Transportation Services in Small Urban and Rural Areas.

The NCHRP study, completed by KFH Group Inc., researched more than 100 mobility management efforts from across the country following six criteria:  innovation, knowledge base, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, efficiency and impact. The study was completed to provide guidance to areas that are working to solve the complex issues surrounding transportation barriers and will serve as a national toolkit.

“It is a proud moment for all of us at Door-Tran to receive this recognition,” said Pam Busch, Door-Tran mobility manager.

Door-Tran provides a variety of transportation services to include volunteer, half-price travel and gas voucher, and vehicle repair and purchase programs. For more information, call 920.743.9999 or 877.330.6333, or visit door-tran.org.
