Door-Tran Receives Transportation Funding for Seniors, Disabled

Door-Tran is one of 52 agencies in the state that will receive funding to support transportation services for seniors and individuals with disabilities, per Gov. Walker’s announcement on Dec. 19. Pam Busch, Mobility Manager at Door-Tran, said, “Funding will support local mobility management efforts, volunteer transportation services and half-price travel voucher programs.” Based on the announcement, Door-Tran was awarded up to $31,076 for operating projects and up to $94,067 for capital projects in 2018. Door-Tran’s partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) dates back to 2008. For more information on transportation services, call Door-Tran at 920.743.9999.
