Double Reed Instrument Concert at Bjِrklunden

Lawrence University’s Bjِrklunden will host a concert on Oct. 20 at 1:30 pm. Lawrence University students will perform a program of ensemble music for double reed instruments. The performers are the current oboe students of Professor Howard Niblock, and the bassoon students of Professor Carl Rath. The program will comprise trios, quartets, and larger groups; and it will include both serious and popular music.

This free concert is sponsored by the Boynton Society and will be held in the serene surroundings of Bjِrklunden’s Vail Hall. The entrance to Bjِrklunden is located on Highway 57, south of Baileys Harbor, across from Anschutz Plumbing.
