Doulagivers of Door County Host Caregiving Workshop

Marggie Hatala of Doulagivers of Door County will host a Family Caregiving workshop Feb. 21, 1-3 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. The workshop brings families, friends and community members together to learn what the end-of-life processes are and how to support the patient and caregiver.

This workshop will walk participants through the three phases that patients and their loved ones go through, from receiving a terminal diagnosis, through the death of the patient and beyond into the bereavement period. These skills can be shared within your family and personal circle as we offer reassurance and support during these times.

The Doulagivers Certified End-of-Life Doula Training Program is committed to restoring aging, dying and death as natural life processes. Information will be available about what an end-of-life doula is and how those interested in making this sacred work their own can begin a business practice.

The cost is $12 per person, and pre-registration is required. To register, contact Marggie at 920.495.1566 or [email protected].
