“The Natural History and Preservation of the Niagara Escarpment” will be the subject of Dr. Roger Kuhn’s presentation at the 4th annual meeting of the Friends of Peninsula State Park on Saturday, September 11 at 1:30 pm. The public is invited to the presentation, taking place at Welcker’s Point shelter in the park.
Dr. Kuhns, a long time resident of Door County, has studied the Niagara Escarpment for many years and is focused on the education and protection of this very prominent feature of Peninsula State Park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and carpool if possible because of limited parking. Park vehicle stickers are required.
