Dragonfly Gallery & Gardens Open for 2011 Season

The Dragonfly Gallery & Gardens will open the 2011 season on Friday, May 27. A special reception will take place from 10 am – 5 pm, featuring ice tea in The Patio, which has become a “Parisan Cafe” with a view of the Fairy Garden and new garden art.

After acquiring the partial estate of Dr. and Mrs. Connelly, owner Susie Kemman decided to use the antique and vintage furniture and decorator items in vignettes to show off the talent of her artists. In addition to the new resale endeavor, The Dragonfly is featuring artist Peggy Bredeson’s painted, hard-carved gourds.

The shop will be closed from May 31 – June 7 while Kemman journeys down Highway 40 to acquire more treasures.
