Dramatic Portraits at Base Camp

Baileys Harbor artist Kate Roth is the featured artist at Base Camp Coffee Bar through early September.

Roth works in oil and acrylic creating intense and dramatic paintings of people. Her showing at Base Camp will represent new works, which seek to convey the depth of human emotions. She translates what she sees using the language of color, shape and value.

“Most of my work is done in an impulsive way,” said Roth.
