Dribble, Pass, Shoot

Back for its third year, Ehrhardt’s Door County Basketball Camp (DCBC) registration is open. Girls and boys who will be entering first through twelfth grade in the fall of 2014 can pre-register for $75. The camp will be July 28 – 31 at Sevastopol School with sessions running for 1st through 5th grade from 9 am to noon, and grades 6 – 12 from 1 to 4 pm. With focus on fundamentals such as passing, dribbling, and form shooting, this is the camp for the complete player.

DCBC staff includes Sturgeon Bay native Dave Ehrhardt, Alli Ehrhardt and Jordan Ehrhardt. Dave was recently hired at South Umpqua High School in Oregon as the athletic director and vice principal. Alli is now competing in track and field for Corban University in Salem, Ore., and was the Cascade Collegiate Conference champion in the triple jump in 2014. Jordan is a member of the varsity squad for Rogue River High School, has started 23 varsity games for the Chieftains, and was First Team All-Area as a sophomore. Rogue River’s Alex Caulley also joins the staff this year. Caulley is a junior point guard and will help the Chieftains in their quest for a state tournament appearance this winter.

To register, visit Door County Basketball Camp on Facebook and download the form. Registration will also be accepted at the door during the first day of camp. For more information call Pam Jorns at 920.493.2178.
