Rolf E. Olson’s fluid photograph collection, “The Requisite Eye,” will be on display at Drink Coffee in Sister Bay during June and July. The public is welcome to the opening reception, taking place Wednesday, June 30 from 5 – 7 pm.
Olson, a manager at an Egg Harbor hotel, has a diverse set of talents and interests to compliment his photography. Graduating with a Philosophy degree from Colorado College in 1974, he has lived abroad, worked as a wooden boat builder and cabinetmaker, and published a book of poetry entitled, One Glass Eye. This year his photograph “Still Repeat” was included in the 48th Annual Juried Exhibition at The Hardy Gallery.
