Drink Wine, Leave the Car Behind

Shuttle stops, music announced for Wine Fest

Organizers of the 2022 Door County Wine Festival are making it easier than ever to get to the tasting tables. This year’s festival will move to Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor on Saturday, June 25, where shuttles will take revelers to and from the grounds throughout the afternoon.

Shuttles will pick up festivalgoers at four sponsor lodging establishments: the Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, Baileys Woods Campground, Ridges Inn & Suites and Baileys Grove Campground. In addition, shuttles will pick up attendees in downtown Baileys Harbor and at the Baileys Harbor Rec Park at the park-and-ride stop.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now at DoorCountyWineFest.com. The festival features tastings from all eight wineries of the Door County Wine Trail – the best way to experience all that area wineries have to offer while meeting winemakers and fellow oenophiles. Enjoy live music from the Third Wheels, plus food from Thyme Cuisine, Mauricio’s, Great Lakes BBQ and The Dog House.

Wineries featured include Lautenbach’s Orchard Country, Stone’s Throw, Simon Creek, Door Peninsula, Red Oak, von Stiehl, Door 44 and Harbor Ridge wineries.

The festival will run 12-4 pm on Saturday, June 25. Learn more at DoorCountyWineFest.com.
